Working in a abstract style, Cesar Laura depicts your Ayahuasca's vision.Considered a religious sacrament, ayahuasca is used in healing and spiritually enlightening.
From this collision between the ayahuasca and the contemporary, the study of tools, the application of and innovation in textile techniques, I try to multiply the resources of chromatic expression, maintaining the authentically Peruvian iconographic language.”

About my work.

"My weavings are unique, and each design has a meaning. When you learn it, you'll have learned something about Peru, her customs and her people."
I'd describe my art as something truly beautiful. To create images in a tapestry is fascinating and at the end, I feel very proud of the result. My art is depicting the past in the present, a way of showing the history of our ancestors (Inca,Paracas and Wari cultures).
